TFSTTM Reloaded Arc 3, Episode 01 Released!

Here it is. After long waiting (in part due to my beta taking longer), one frustrating scene rewrite (again because of my beta), the next episode of TFSTTM Reloaded has been released. Everything else is explained within.

Direct episode link is here!

  1. Its a well done piece, i just have one question, as one of you newer followers, i dont know your upload schedule, i mean, when you are typing your fic, you said that its been an arc per year, also, some other things have hinted at longer periods between uploads.

I guess my question is, and i understand that this is relative to your work load, and that you should only post when you have the time, every how often do you expect to upload???

Thank you for your time, hope Maia gives you more help than trouble, and i wish you the best of luck with finding yourself a real job ;)

    1. MysticMew and Maia stare at the screen.
      MysticMew: Say... What is that?
      Maia: ... I think...
      MysticMew: You mean...
      Maia: Yes... It's...
      MysticMew & Maia: A FOLLOWER!
      MysticMew: And also...
      MysticMew & Maia: A COMMENT!
MysticMew & Maia happily dance around the room.

Err... *coughs* Ahem. Sorry about that. Now on to your question. You are in luck because normally I tend to ignore questions about when I update. But since you are my first here (not counting my betas who I forced into it ^_^), I'll be nice. Basically you are at the right place. Well, here and in my frequent author's notes.

The simple answer is: I update when I am ready.
The more complex answer would be: I update when I am ready AND my betas are done with a new episode. I try to work frequently and steadily on episodes, but sometimes things get in between (and yes, sometimes I am just lazy). The comment about an arc per year was more stating a fact. It just happened that way but considering the length of arc 3, it may stretch a little longer this time. ^_^

The good thing is, Maia and I are on a good run with this right now. Arc 3 is all but planned out. However, you need to be patient for the next few episodes since I plan to do them (or at least the next two) back to back before releasing them for various reasons. So, the next update might be a bit off...

HOWEVER, this is the right place to be. Everyone here, will definitely get a teaser at some point. And I'll post the status of episodes semi-frequently as well.

So, spread the word. we need more followers here. :)

    2. Thank you for your answer, and i understand perfectly what you are saying, also, i didnt mean to pry with my question about the schedule, it was just a estimate, and this is something that is very hard to do, because it depends on maia and you betas.

Either way, youve inspired me to write my own fanfics, which is something ive been flirting with for quite a while, ill probably start at around christmas, but that is as long as i dont have too much work :D

Thank you for how you have motivated me, and i hope you keep being yourself and working hard, your work is awesome.

  2. I finally caught up to your story yesterday and I must say it is one the best Fics I have ever read. I really enjoy your 1st person PoV writing style. I like how you write like a show and it flows like it as well. One critique i would have and I think it's a small one is the battle sequences I think maybe a clearer picture could be portrayed that could show more of the emotions and actions of what is going. I figure that may be harder to do from the 1st person and it isn't anything big imo. I think its just me I also do fics and I love big elaborate battle sequences so it may just be me. Waiting paitently for your next chapter. Stay in good health and dont let Maia beat you up too much!

  3. And a second comment. ^_^ Thanks. I always feel my changing POV style is the one thing that defines me when writing. As such it is not always easy to do and sometimes I do hit walls... Action scenes are a bit of toughie I admit. Unless I switch a lot like the final phase of the Ash VS Leaf match it's kind of tough to bring the general atmosphere along.

    1. If you are still in need of a beta I would love to be part of the brain trust for Battle scenes. I truly do love writing them.

    2. I think I have to decline on that. First of I don't really feel like my battle scenes are that bad and in need of serious help. ^_^ Second, between my two betas I have more than enough constructive critcism to work with. If I add anymore I have a feeling my update schedule will truly suffer even more. So, at least for this story I am set up.

Thanks for the offer though. If I ever have a need, I'll remember it.
